Amy Meng

Amy Meng is a senior at New Canaan High School. She has been playing the piano for 8 years and passed the RCM Level 10 exam in February of 2021 with First Class Honors with Distinction, as well as MMTA (Minnesota Music Teachers Association) theory and technical exams with scores in the 90s. She has also performed at Carnegie Hall and enjoyed performing at the New Canaan Inn prior to the pandemic.

Amy really loves to do art, especially drawing. She received a gold key for her drawing in the 2020 Scholastic Art Awards and has had a few works accepted for publication in local websites and organizations. Amy has experience in helping art teachers teach younger students at the art camps hosted at her town's middle school. You'll most likely find her drawing, painting or reading in her free time.
